Chip Chaikin - Partner
Chip joined the group in Cleveland in 1998 and opened Blue Point’s Shanghai office in 2004. Prior to joining the group, Chip was a vice president at Carleton, McCreary, Holmes & Co., providing mergers and acquisitions advisory services to middle-market companies. Chip previously worked in business development for Sara Lee Corporation in Hong Kong, as well as for Mercer Management Consulting, providing strategic consulting services to a number of Fortune 500 companies. Chip holds a B.A. in Asian studies from Brown University and a master's in public administration from Princeton University. Presently, he allocates his time between the Cleveland and Shanghai offices.

Xiaoming Chen - Director
Xiaoming has 12 years of experience in banking, having served as an executive director and Shanghai branch manager of ABN AMRO Bank, vice president of Citigroup’s Corporate and Investment Banking and general manager of China Everbright Securities’ Investment Banking Department prior to joining the group in 2008. Before 1996, Xiaoming worked at the Shenzhen Stock Exchange for 4 years. Xiaoming holds bachelor and master’s degrees in engineering from Zhejiang University and a master’s degree in management from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.

Dennis Wu - Vice President of Business Development
Dennis joined the group in 2006. Previously, Dennis was the Purchasing Director Asia Pacific at Delphi Packard Electric Systems. While at Delphi, he spent more than 10 years in various assignments mainly in supply management, purchasing and quality. Prior to joining Delphi, Dennis worked at Shanghai Printronics Circuit Board Co. where he was a product engineer. Dennis holds a B.E. in material science from Shanghai University and an MBA from China Europe International Business School.

Jack Guo - Senior Associate
Jack joined the group in 2005. Before joining Blue Point, Jack worked in Shanghai for Natus Investments, a European-based private equity firm. Prior to that, Jack worked as an associate in the Shanghai office of L.E.K. Consulting. Jack is a graduate of Fudan University with a B.S. in applied chemistry and a minor degree in business administration.

Jackie Zhang - Sourcing Manager
Jackie joined Blue Point in 2006, in charge of portfolio companies’ sourcing activities in China. Prior joining Blue Point, Jackie spent 2 years as the logistics and purchasing manager at LEONI, a German company, and 5 years in the material planning and procurement department at Delphi Packard. Jackie has received extensive training in European ERP systems, and she is proficient in lean manufacturing, production leveling, JIT delivery, negotiation and Six Sigma best practices. Jackie graduated from Northeast Normal University.

Jeff Li - Supplier Development and Quality Manager
Jeff joined Blue Point in 2008, in charge of supplier development and quality control. In this role, he helps Asian suppliers improve management practices and product quality while reducing the final product cost. Prior to Blue Point, Jeff worked at Emerson as the supplier quality manager for 5 years, earning the Six Sigma Black Belt certification during this period. From 1999 to 2003, Jeff worked at Jumpsource, in charge of the U.S. company’s machinery components sourcing and manufacturing business in China. He worked at Shanghai Aircraft Manufacturing from 1997 to 1999 as an engineer. Jeff graduated from Nanchang Institute of Aeronautic Technology with a B.S. in Machinery Manufacturing.
