Cleveland, Ohio (August 23, 2010) - Blue Point Capital Partners, in conjunction with its
portfolio company, Packers Holdings LLC, announced today the acquisitions of Kaiser Contract
Cleaning Specialists Inc. (KCCSI) and Canadian Contract Cleaning Specialists Inc. (CCCSI),
two leading contract cleaners servicing the food processing industry. “With the addition of KCCSI and CCCSI, Packers Holdings is now the
largest food processing contract cleaner in the United States and in Canada,” said John LeMay,
a partner at Blue Point. These transactions represent the first add-on acquisitions for
Packers Holdings, which was acquired by Blue Point as a platform investment in April 2007. “This transaction is a tremendous opportunity for all three companies,”
said Jeff Kaiser, CEO of the combined organization. “The combination of the management teams
and the additional geographic coverage we now have will allow us to provide higher-quality
services for our customers across a broader geographic area.” Kaiser, who previously worked with Packers Holdings, added, “I’m excited
to once again partner with my former colleagues and with Blue Point, and I look forward to the
opportunities that this transaction will create.” Dan Zelman, chairman of the combined company, said, “We’re pleased to
have Jeff and his companies as part of our group. Our companies complement each other well,
and we look forward to continuing to serve all of our customers in the manner to which they
are accustomed.” Founded in 1971 and headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio, Packers Holdings –
through its Packers Sanitation Services Inc. (PSSI) subsidiary – is also a contract cleaner of
food processing facilities serving primarily the protein industry.
